How long does it take for my item to be made?Your order will be filled as promptly as possible. While there might be exceptions, we strive to produce and ship within 5 -10 working days. You may choose from various shipping options at checkout. Should we experience a large volume period, such as the Holidays, our processing time might go up. In that case we will inform you via email and share the time frame. We are not a mass-producing factory, but a small workshop business, a handbag studio creating handcrafted bags that are made-to-order. Zero waste fashion altogether. Our bags are unique and we know you will love your Loop Couture.

Why are Loop Couture bags considered to be unique?Well, aren't we glad you asked! We obviously are passionate about our bags. But why. First, they are handmade: Knitted, crocheted, assembled with chosen handles, bagstrap and hardware, all by hand. Secondly, we source our quality materials from around the World, mostly Europe. It is a handbag made in the USA, but with materials that we hand pick from its origin. We work with small workshops in Portugal, Greece and the Baltic region and they are as passionate about handmaking items as we are. Thirdly, we offer you to create your own bag. Pick a handbag color you love, then add the bag straps, handles, hardware and a matching insert to design your very own style. If that is not unique then we don't know!

How do I place an order online?Peruse our great selection of bags, from our biggest Hannah Maxi Tote to our Phone Sleeves, and click 'Add to Cart' or 'Checkout' on the product page. If you have not selected your color handles/bag strap, your hardware of choice or your insert color, it will ask you to use the drop-down menu options to create the bag you will absolutely love. Once done, go to checkout, use a promo code, coupon if you have one and continue to payment. You may log in or continue as a guest. What payment methods do you accept?We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit and debit card payments. If you ordered a Studio Pick Up, we will accept a cash or check payment upon pick up.

How do I calculate shipping?Standard shipping is free for orders over $139. If you need your items asap, you may choose expedited shipping during checkout. It is pre-calculated so no worries. You will see your final amount on the checkout page before your finalize your order. We ship with USPS, UPS or FedEx.

How can I check the status of my order?Once you ordered your made-to-order Loop Couture bag, we will send you a confirmation email. and get right on it. We ask for 5-10 business days for production unless we are hitting a high volume production time, such as the Holidays. Feel free to check your account page at any time. Once your bag is ready for shipment, you will receive an email with pick up or tracking information. Time to get excited. You may also call us at (530) 205-6864 from 9 AM - 5 PM PST, or email us at handmade@loopcouture.com. We will respond within 24 hours.

What if I need a gift right away?Great question! Some handbags are ready to be shipped within a few business days. Opt for the expedited shipping option and leave us a note in the NOTE box during checkout. If we cannot ship within your desired time frame, we will reach out. However, consider our GIFT CARD option. It is such a lovely idea, to be gifting a handbag the recipient can choose and design. You can download and print your gift card right away after purchase, or have it sent to the recipient via email on a date of your choosing.

What is the TeVeo Project 'I See you' ?More on this topic soon. We are supporting a beautiful Christian project in the Dominican Republic, named Project I See You (te veo in Spanish). Check out their website https://www.projectiseeyou.org/. Currently we are working on a special Loop Couture charm for our handbags, handmade by the women of the Te Veo project. Stay tuned!

What does 'couture' mean?It is French for 'custom making and tailoring a high quality fashion product, mostly made by hand'. COUTURE ME, please! is an option we offer to design and produce a handbag in the colors you love, the accessories you adore and the distinct look you desire. Look around in our Shop, but if your idea of a custom-made striping or color combination is not reflected in our Online Shop, the option to "COUTURE ME, please!" is for you! You can add this option to any bag and we'll customize it for you. Please note that striping can only be done horizontally, to keep the bold look and integrity of our unique handbags. And yes, we can add 3, 4 or more colors to your design!

How do I care for my Loop Couture?This is pretty great. Our materials are very sturdy, our natural cork we use for handles and bag straps is often referred to as Vegan Leather. Cork is naturally water resistant and can be cleaned with a soft sponge and warm water. Our knitted bags are actually... (get ready): washable! We know, that sounds crazy, but it is true. Take out your removable felted insert, detach your bag strap, handles and your Loop Couture round charm and place your outer bag into the washer. Warm water, soap and a gentle to regular cycle with medium to high spin cycle. Take out after cycle has ended and lay FLAT to dry. Depending on your climate it will take some time for the bag to fully dry. Once it is dry, re-insert your felted liner, add your bag strap handles and charm and you are good to go! Do your handbags have bag feet?Most of our models certainly do! They are standard for our Hannah Maxi, World Handbag and EMMA Top Handle bag. They help balance your handbag when setting it down. It stabilizes the entire bag and keeps the outer handbag from sitting directly on the surface.

What tax rate are you charging?Our workshop is located in Nevada County, California. Tax rate is 7.5%. If you purchase from outside California, there is no tax! How lucky are you.

How do I place a new order in an exchange?Once you receive your return authorization number and exchange credit amount, please return the item along with a note detailing the exchange. Your replacement item(s) will be processed upon receipt. After we receive your exchange, an email will be sent out to confirm your order and the new balance or credit due. This will include any price difference between the exchanged items, possible taxes and shipping costs. The balance or credit will be issued in the same form it was received. Your exchange will not be shipped until we have received full payment for this balance.

What is your return policy?What sets us apart from other handbag brands is that Loop Couture bags are custom-made, crafted specifically to your order and handmade to perfection. Nothing truly gives us more joy than knowing you love and cherish your unique Loop Couture item. That is what it's all about. Your trust in our product means the world to us. ​ In the rare event you do not wish to keep your Loop Couture, we will accept a return, offer store credit or exchange your product within 7 days of customer delivery date. In order to issue your Return Authorization Number, we will need the following information: 1. Your email, contact information and/or fax. 2. The item number & description of the merchandise being returned/exchanged. 3. The original invoice number (found at the top of your receipt). Your Return Authorization Number and the address of where to return the item(s) will be issued via email. (Or by phone if necessary). Any returns or exchanges will have to be shipped at the customer's expense and responsibility. We will deduct a $5 restocking and admin fee. We cannot accept items that were lost or damaged during shipment. Eligible items for return, exchange or store credit will have to meet the following criteria for acceptance: 1. Unused and undamaged condition 2. Complete with all accessories as it was delivered 3. Purchased at loopcouture.com Please contact us for the return address via the Customer Care page or email us at handmade@loopcouture.com. Once we have approved and received your return, we will process your exchange/refund within 7 business days. ​ Please note, individualized Loop Couture handbags crafted under the "COUTURE ME" option cannot be returned as they were crafted specifically to your desire. Thank you for understanding. However, SALE items may be exchanged for store credit if the item is returned to us within 7 days of arrival under above provisions. How should I ship my return?You may ship your return as soon as you have received your Return Authorization Number (see above). For your protection, please send all returns via a traceable carrier and in a well-padded box or envelope. We cannot be responsible for returns that are lost or damaged during return shipping. All costs related to return shipping are paid by the customer. Eligible items for exchange will have to meet the following criteria for acceptance: 1. Unused and undamaged condition 2. Complete with all accessories as it was delivered 3. Purchased at loopcouture.com Please contact us via the Customer Care page for the return address. Email us at handmade@loopcouture.com.

What if the merchandise I ordered arrived damaged during shipping?If your items arrived damaged during shipment, please notify us within 3 days by emailing us at handmade@loopcouture.com. We will gladly replace the item and take care of all additional shipping charges related to the return. Please contact us within 3 days of receiving the damaged package. Make sure to obtain your Return Authorization Number by emailing our customer service department at handmade@loopcouture.com, or calling (530) 205-6864. We will not be able to process any returns/replacements without this number. Please provide detailed photos of the damage so we may contact the carrier for a claim.
