Our outer bags are skillfully hand-knitted and finished with a crocheted rim by hand, righ here in the USA, creating this unique and bold look. Our small workshop in California is crafting each bag using materials sourced from around our world, hence, you carry the world in a handbag! The removable felted insert features a main compartment with 2 smaller pockets, a phone pocket and a zippered pouch. Magnetic closure button to keep things safe. Perfect bag for all your essentials: Wallet, phone, glasses, lipstick.

Our handles and cork straps are made in Portugal and Greece, from sustainably harvested vegan Natural Cork (unless you choose a woven or leather strap). Our round cork cord handles are are so comfortable to wear and easy on your shoulder. Yes, we have thought about that, too :-).

MATERIALS: Loop Couture bags are made of a European high-quality, durable textile-grade macramé nylon rope from the thriving Baltic Region. Its color vibrance is truly stunning, and its slight elasticity keeps your bag looking in shape and beautiful! Loop Couture handbag handles and bag straps are made of sustainably harvested natural cork from Portugal. With very similar features to leather, natural vegan tree cork is durable and naturally water resistent. You will love the rich and soft feel of this sustainable natural material! 
CARE: Have a stain on your bag? Your bag is easy to care for. The macrame rope does not easily attract dirt and is washable. Use warm water and soap if needed to rub off any stains, or pop it into the washing machine (make sure to remove your handles and insert before doing so). Should you have a spill inside your handbag, take out the removable felt insert to clean and let it dry out before placing it back into your handbag. Stains on your natural cork handles and bag strap can be cleaned with warm water and a soft sponge. This eco-friendly material is naturally water-resistant.

WELLBAG SPA: Great benefit if you own a Loop Couture: When that time comes, book a spot in our own Wellbag Spa for your beloved handbag! We'll look it over and pamper your companion, refresh hardware if needed, clean and wash your bag so it'll look fabulous once it leaves our workshop. This is what sustainability looks like! Each bag is uniquely artisan-crafted and made with love! We usually produce and ship your order within 5-10 business days.
